Masonic Center Associates INC.

(AKA the Board of Directors)

The Masonic Directors are made up on one member elected by each organization (Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, York Rite, Scottish Rite and ISIS Shrine). Each director serves a five year term, each term starting in a different year, so consequently one director goes off the board each year and a new one is added.  They meet on the first Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00 pm in there office on the first floor near the Blue Lodge office.  The meetings are open to all members, and are encouraged to attend.  If there is something you would like to bring before the directors at their meeting, please call ahead to see if you can have your item added to the agenda.

The directors are currently involved in setting up funds with the Greater Salina Community Foundation so individual donors can make monitory contributions to the Masonic Center through the Greater Salina Community Foundation.  The donations made through the foundation are tax deductible for the donor to the fullest extent of the law.  This allows the Masonic Center an avenue for funds that haven't been available before.  The two funds, (The Historic Masonic Temple Restoration Fund) and the ( The Historic Masonic Temple Preservation Fund) have been set up and are waiting for your tax deductible donation.

Update October 2005

The directors have established a committee to do some fact finding and research into the buildings past and future needs.  They have also been tasked with formulating a plan for the future of Masonry in Salina, "What's it going to take?".  They will be reporting to the directors and their recommendations will be heavily considered.  If you have any questions, please visit one of the directors or come to their monthly meetings, get the word directly from the horses mouth!!
